Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I am located in Vaughan, Ontario. In person drop off and pick up will take place in Woodbridge, Vaughan, but we also accept shipments from all over Canada :)

How do I book you?

When you fill out a custom inquiry form, I’ll email you to talk about what you’re looking for and make sure we’re a good fit for your needs. I’ll then send a proposal and contract via email and you can look it over before submitting payment online.

How long does the process take?

Pressing flowers is a delicate, handcrafted process. Depending on the types of flowers in your bouquet and your frame choice, a project can take between 6 to 12 weeks. But trust us, the wait is always worth it!

How do I know what size frame would be good for my bouquet?

While we offer various options to suit your taste and expectations, we recommend the following sizes for bouquets:

  • Boutonniere / Corsage: 5 x 5” or 8 x 10”

  • Petite Bouquet: 11 x 14” or 10 x 10”

  • Standard Bouquet: 16 x 20”

  • Large Bouquet: 18 x 24”

For more details, visit our size guide.

Do you require a deposit to book my date?

Yes, we require a deposit to reserve your spot since our handmade presses are limited. We split the payment into two installments: half is due when you book, and the remaining half is due one week after we receive your flowers in good condition. This approach helps make the process more affordable, especially with all the expenses that come with wedding planning!

Do you accept all-white bouquets?

Yes and no. We do accept all-white bouquets for pressed frames (not shadow box type) if they include a variety of different white flowers and plenty of greenery. However, all-white bouquets can be tricky to press, as white flowers tend to show bruising easily.

Please note that an all-white bouquet will require an additional color correction process, which incurs a $50 extra fee.

What is the difference between pressed and dried?

The pressed method slowly flattens and removes all the moisture and will be displayed in a traditional or float glass frame. Dried flowers maintain their 3 dimensional shape and are dried using natural or chemical processes.

Dried flowers tend to hold their color better, especially all whites flowers. Dried will be displayed in a deeper shadow box frame.

I saved my bouquet from my wedding and it’s dried. Can you preserve it for me?

A dried bouquet can’t be pressed because once it’s aired out, the blooms will crumble under pressure. However, I recommend two options:

  1. Depending on the condition of the dried bouquet, it may be preserved in a shadow box. Please DM me a picture before inquiring to see if it’s feasible.

  2. You can ask your florist to recreate your bouquet on a smaller scale, and I can press that. Your spouse could make this an anniversary gift (HINT HINT!), and the flowers will be super fresh for pressing.

Will my flowers stay the same color over time?

Some flowers retain their colors better than others, and all natural materials will fade over time. Although everything ages and changes, this transformation is still a beautiful part of the preservation process.

We offer UV-protected framing for our pieces, which shields them from 99% of UV rays. This helps maintain the color of your flowers, especially whites, for much longer. Typically, vibrant flowers will either keep their brightness or deepen in hue when pressed.
